PAINTINGS

Kendall experimented with several techniques before selecting oil on canvas as his medium. Some of his early paintings on canvas were done using oil and tempera emulsion while otheres were painted on cradled wooden panels. Although portraits were his primary subject matter, he also painted still lifes, stage and costume designs. This is a selection of works painted over a period of 50 years.
